I enjoyed my recent stay, especially because the location was ideal for exploring downtown Atlanta. The hotel is situated near many attractions, including Centennial Park and the Georgia Aquarium. However, I did have some concerns with the room condition and breakfast options overall, which could use some improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room was a good size and comfortable, but it felt like it needed some renovations. I experienced issues with the air conditioning that just wouldn't cool down properly. I found some maintenance problems too, such as a crack in the window and some mold in the bathroom.
Service
6.0
While some staff were friendly and accommodating, my experience varied. A lovely front desk agent named Kenya stood out with her friendliness, but I felt that others seemed indifferent to my requests.
Location
8.0
The location was perfect for accessing various attractions quickly. I could easily walk to places like the College Football Hall of Fame and Olympic Park within minutes, which made my stay enjoyable.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast offered was okay, but I found the selection a bit limited. It got crowded during peak times and a larger variety would have made it more enjoyable.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like parking were a bit of a hassle due to limited space and high costs for alternative parking. The overall clean condition of the common areas was a positive, though.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Downtown, which is right in the middle of downtown, making it super convenient. especially for accessing local attractions. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and while the new rooms are quite nice, I did experience some issues with service and room maintenance that detracted from my overall enjoyment. The parking situation can be a hassle, with a charge of $25 a day on a separate lot.

While some staff members were friendly, I found the overall service lacking. I tried reaching out multiple times for help with my room issues, but my requests went unanswered, which left me feeling ignored.

The facilities were average but showed signs of age. The elevator situation was tough during peak times since only one was working, leading to long waits.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Downtown. While the location was fantastic, allowing me easy access to local attractions and providing a nice view from my room, the ongoing renovations caused several inconveniences. There were issues like no hot water, limited elevator use, and some cleanliness problems that detracted from my overall enjoyment. I appreciated the helpful staff, but I felt the hotel is in need of a complete renovation before it can truly shine.
